Moscow Drama Theater. MN Ermolova is located on Tverskaya Street, in the center of Moscow. The year of foundation of the theater is 1925. This year, graduates of the art studio of the Maly Theater organized a traveling theater. They decided to show their stage experiments to Maria Nikolaevna Ermolova. With her approval of creative searches and with her permission, the theater began to bear the name of Yermolova.

In 1996, Vladimir Andreev staged the play "Mary Stuart" by F. Schiller. It was attended by artists from the Ermolova Theater and the Theater Center. A symbolic unification of both troupes took place. The artists played together again, for the first time in seven long years.

The theater's repertoire includes the following performances: Before Sunset, Confessions of a Beginner, Mary Poppins, Invisible Men, Crossroads, Krechinsky's Wedding, Really that Tatiana?, "An Evening of Comedy", "Alexander Pushkin", "Twelfth Night".
In April 2012, the actor and director Oleg Menshikov became the artistic director of the Yermolova Theater. Vladimir Andreev became the President of the theater.
Today the theater and its performances are being renewed. The theater has a new corporate identity, a new repertoire. But the main thing in the theater is the continuity of generations. This has always been strong in the Drama Theater. M. N. Ermolova.
