The famous memorial workshop of A. V. Panteleev is a memorial museum of the famous honored artist of the RSFSR Alexander Vasilyevich Panteleev, as well as a branch of the regional Vologda art gallery. Panteleev Alexander Vasilievich is a Soviet artist, muralist, graphic artist and set designer. In addition, he is a member of the Union of Artists of the Soviet Union since 1966, and also has the title of Honored Artist of the BASSR and the RSFSR since 1974.

The very first works of the talented thirteen-year-old artist Sasha Panteleev were sketches and sketches of scenery for the famous plays by Griboyedov "Woe from Wit" and the famous Lope de Vega "Fuente Ovehuna". After graduating from art school, Panteleev wrote sketches of scenery for the State Bashkir Ballet and Opera Theater, as well as for the Republican Russian Drama Theater. Artist Panteleev is a participant of regional, republican, foreign and all-Union exhibitions. Since 1969, there have been 16 personal exhibitions of Alexander Panteleev. Drawings and paintings of the talented artist are kept in 42 museums not only in our country, but also in the CIS countries, of which 6 paintings are exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery.

The museum funds of the Vologda Picture Gallery include over 137 paintings and about 1268 drawings by Alexander Vasilyevich. The Art Museum named after M. V. Nesterov, there are such paintings as: "Bukhara", "March"; the Perm Art Gallery houses the Blue Minarets; in the Museum of Fine Arts of the city of Tyumen there are “Winter. Rocks "and" Ufimskaya CHPP "; The Ural Still Life is kept at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. In addition, more than 80 of Panteleev's works were acquired by private collectors.

Memorial workshop of A. V. Panteleev is located in a brick one-story mansion built at the end of the 19th century. It was in this house that A. V. Panteleev. worked on his paintings since 1981. Before the artist settled in the house, the building was in the hands of the Vologda printing house and served as a zinc printing workshop.

The entire workshop occupies two small rooms, which are furnished with antique antique furniture. In addition to Panteleev's creative heritage, all of his books, objects of applied art, a collection of old records, as well as the artist's gifts are kept in a small workshop. Of considerable interest is the pictorial toolkit of Alexander Panteleev.

Solemn and so long-awaited opening of the famous "Panteleev A. V. Memorial Workshop" happened on April 7 in 1993. This event was facilitated by a considerable amount of complex work by all employees of the Vologda Picture Gallery, a branch of the All-Russian Restoration Center of the city of Vologda, named after Grabar, as well as the organization of the Vologda Union of Artists.

There is also an annual exhibition of young and young artists of the city of Vologda called "Wider Circle".

The memorial workshop is considered a meeting place for veterans of education and culture, teachers, regional and city society of book lovers, "Steps" - a literary association, a cinema club of T. N.
