Description of the attraction

The ancient city of Glastonbury in the south of England has always been a destination for pilgrims. The magnificent Glastonbury Abbey, unfortunately, has not survived to this day, but we can imagine its grandeur by looking at the ruins. Glastonbury was surrounded by legends and myths for every taste: Christian, pagan, knightly. The Holy Grail, King Arthur and his tomb, the crystal island of Avalon, a portal to other worlds and much, much more. All this attracted and still attracts many guests, researchers and just tourists here. Naturally, in such a city there will be many hotels and hotels, restaurants and pubs. One of these inns and pubs has survived from the 15th century! This is the oldest pub in the South West of England, located in a specially built building. The three-story building is decorated with the coats of arms of Glastonbury Abbey and King Edward IV.

The hotel is still working and accepting guests. Perhaps it does not meet the most demanding tastes, but lovers of history and antiquities will feel great here. Antique windows, oak beams and panels create a unique atmosphere, while modern amenities provide comfort. The hotel is said to be haunted, which is not surprising given the age of the building.
