It may happen that after a vacation at the sea you will want to visit some other Italian cities, for example, Venice. Then it will be logical to fly home from this city. In fact, before buying a ticket, a tourist does not need to calculate the connection time: the management of the Italian railways has already thought about this. The route is designed in such a way that it would be convenient for passengers to change from train to train and at the same time not spend a lot of time waiting for the departure of a new train. The good news is that there are two direct trains from Rimini daily to Venice, which do not provide for connections in other cities.

Not always the shortest path (214 km to Venice), but it passes through the city of Ravenna, turns out to be the most optimal. During the journey through Ravenna, only a small section of the road will be toll. On free routes, you will have to drive at a lower speed than on autobahns, which will delay your journey by about 30-40 minutes.

The longer route (268 km) through Bologna is much faster by car than the previous one through Ravenna. For quite a long time, you can drive here at high speed on the toll road.

It should be remembered that in Venice people do not travel by car, so you will have to leave your transport in a paid parking lot on the outskirts of the city or in its suburb of Mestre.
