- Registration of marriage with a citizen or citizen of the United Arab Emirates. This method allows you to obtain the citizenship of the country in three years, but in practice it turns out that a foreigner of non-Arab origin will not be able to do this.
- Employment at an enterprise or company in the UAE. The most popular vector of job searches in the country is the tourism sector. Foreigners with knowledge of Russian, English and other popular languages are in demand in hotels, restaurants, travel companies and the service sector. Skilled construction workers and engineers are also readily employed here.
- Buying a property. In this case, a resident visa is issued not only to the owner of square meters, but also to close members of his family - his spouse and children.
- Establishment of an enterprise in the United Arab Emirates. A free economic zone on the territory of the country attracts foreign businessmen who have decided to create a company in a state where business is not subject to taxes. The most promising conditions for the development of the enterprise attract and become the reason for moving to the UAE more and more new investors.
A residence permit issued on the basis of one of the above conditions is valid for three years. Then it should be extended. The grounds for the extension are impeccable compliance with all laws of the Emirates.
Any resident who is absent from the country for more than 180 days a year can be revoked. Exceptions will be made for spouses of UAE citizens, persons undergoing long-term medical treatment outside the state, foreign students studying at universities abroad, and those who had to go to work abroad. A three-year residence permit can be renewed any number of times.

Children born even from mixed marriages automatically receive UAE citizenship if at least one parent is a citizen of the Emirates and recognizes their rights to the child.
