Despite the absence of grandiose mountain ranges, Belarus boasts high hills, the steep slopes of which are quite suitable for those who like to sweep with the breeze. Of course, its resorts are unlikely to be able to interest pros and extreme lovers, but for beginners, intermediate skiers and very confident boarders, there are all opportunities to have a great time here. So in recent years, the flow of Russian tourists wishing to master the ski resorts of Belarus has become much fuller.

In addition to wonderfully equipped snowparks, reasonable prices and universally understanding and speaking Russian citizens, Belarus can offer clean air, beautiful views and excellent food with comfortable living. The average price for renting a snowboard or ski set in the resorts of Belarus is $ 7 per hour. If you rent equipment for 12 hours, the cost of the service will not exceed $ 25.

Silichi resort

Opened in 2005, the center of Silichi is only half an hour's drive from the capital and is the most popular in the country. There are four very decent tracks with a length of up to 900 meters. And one of them is for blackboard users. The lift is a chairlift, and a rope pulls the beginners to the small training track.

A distinctive feature of the resort, small by European standards, is the decent condition of the tracks, which cannons help to maintain. In the evenings, all tracks are illuminated, which allows Minskers to ride even on weekdays. The rental of ski equipment is excellent, the prices are very pleasant.

Paddlers can arrange skiing at the local snow park, which is equipped with jumps and various figures. The half-pipe nearby is worthy of all praise and is highly appreciated even by advanced boarders.

You can stay in Silichi in a local hotel, which is very well equipped with average prices for a double room of about $ 50 per day. In addition to the hotel in the resort, you can rent a two- or four-bed cottage.

Logoisk resort

The very first ski complex in the country Logoisk is located only 30 km from Minsk, and therefore is very popular among young people and families with children. In keeping with the strictest European standards, Logoisk offers fans of active winter pastime five tracks, with a total length of just over 3.5 km, which are served by a four-chair cable car and a tow bar.

The snow cannon helps to maintain quite decent coverage on the slopes of Logoisk, and the professional trainers of the local training center give a start to the skiing life for beginners. Unfortunately, there is no special entertainment for the boarders at the resort, but they willingly leave the snowboard for the local attraction "Cheerful cheesecake", the meaning of which is to ride down the mountain on a large inflatable wheel.

You can stay in the Logoisk ski center both in a hotel and in individual houses made in the style of Alpine chalets with a Belarusian flavor and a pleasant price.

Yakutsk mountains resort

This ski center got its name not in honor of the northeastern Russian region, but in the name of the village of Yakut, 40 km from the Belarusian capital. It is here, in a small area, that there are two slopes for skiing or boarding and one for tubing.

Serves the slopes with a drag lift, and for beginners - professional trainers from the local ski school. Equipment can be rented inexpensively, and in your free time from the mountain you can shoot at a shooting range or drive a snowmobile.

Mozyr resort

This ski center is the most remote from the capital and is located 220 km from the main city of Belarus. The resort is nestled in … a deep ravine, like the city of Mozyr itself. Here nature itself ordered to engage in alpine skiing, because even on the Mozyr streets, the height difference is up to 30 meters.

The drag lift takes fans of winter active entertainment to the only slope here, which is only 35 meters high. But not too experienced athletes feel at home in Mozyr. Among other things, they are helped by teachers at the ski school, and equipment rental.

The extreme sportsmen at the Mozyr resort have nothing to do, except to go for a ride on a toboggan sled. These sleds without runners came to Belarus from the Indians of North America themselves. The entertainment is as exciting as it is dangerous, because on a steep bend you can easily fly overboard.

The traditional entertainments for the guests of the resort include snowmobiling, tasting Belarusian cuisine and walking along the territory of the largest river port in the country.
